What is a Doula & What can I do for you?

Many people haven't heard of the term Birth Doula before and maybe some have but they just aren't sure what it is or how a Birth Doula could benefit them! I would love to share more information. A Birth Doula is a trained professional who gives the mother continuous emotional, physical and informational support they need in order to have a gentle birthing experience. A Birth Doula is not a medical professional. A Midwife or OB is a medical professional who solely focuses on the health and safety of you and your baby. As a Doula, we do not replace your partner, Midwife or OBGYN- we help provide support and bridge gaps where we are needed. As your doula, my goal is to help you achieve the birth you desire and bring you, your partner and baby together. This can look different for each family so below I listed a variety of ways I can support you bring your baby earth side! We can discuss more options for support if wanted as well!
